Job summary

Intuit seeks a Lead, Financial Process & Platform Modernization to shape and execute the modernization of controllership processes, platforms, data, and ways of working. You will lead high-priority initiatives spanning close, consolidation, and financial reporting, delivering scalable solutions that reduce manual effort and improve cycle time and quality.

You will work at the intersection of accounting, systems, data, and technology, translating complex requirements into designs for technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• MBA, CMA, or relevant tech/data credentials are a plus.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, close/consolidation, reporting, SOX requirements.
• Experience leading cross-functional modernization initiatives from problem definition to outcome measurement.
• Ability to translate accounting requirements into process, system and data design.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder alignment skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead modernization initiatives from strategy through execution with measurable improvements.
• Translate requirements into scalable process, system, and data solutions across multiple teams.
• Own major modernization workstreams with clear priorities and governance.
• Enhance data, reporting, dashboards, and performance insights for leadership visibility.
• Serve as trusted advisor to controllership leadership with data-backed recommendations.
• Apply AI-first lens to redesign and scale workflows with governance and audit defensibility.
• Drive continuous improvement and retire obsolete processes or tools.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and drive adoption without direct authority.
