This role reports to the CEO and oversees GAAP reporting, year-end audits, payroll, tax compliance, and budgeting. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset. Strong communication with portfolio partners and external service providers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Five years of successful accounting experience.
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP and regulatory reporting; investment portfolio experience preferred.
• Financial planning and analysis experience and process improvement mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and the ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Promote GLI’s “People First” culture and core values.
• Lead accounting function including general ledger, tax, and compliance.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and related controls.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close with reconciliations and GAAP statements.
• Oversee annual financial audit and tax compliance filings.
• Support annual budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Coordinate with portfolio companies and external service providers.
