Job summary

Eiden Systems Consulting (ESC) seeks an experienced Controller to oversee accounting and financial operations. This hands-on role manages the full accounting function, payroll, billing, financial reporting, cash management, and government-contract accounting.

Preferred expertise in Deltek Costpoint 8.2 as ESC's primary Costpoint user, responsible for project setup, reporting, and period-end activities in a DoD/federal contracting environment. Competitive compensation offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Direct, hands-on experience using Deltek Costpoint 8.2.
• Experience performing accounting, billing, payroll, project setup, reporting, and period-end processing in Costpoint 8.2.
• Government-contract accounting experience in DoD or federal contracting environment.
• Experience with CPFF, T&M, FFP contracts and indirect-rate structures.
• Strong Excel, organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounting cycle and general ledger.
• Oversee AP/AR, payroll, cash receipts, and disbursements.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and closing activities.
• Prepare and submit government invoices and reconciliations.
• Maintain Costpoint project structures and billing configurations.
• Monitor contract funding, burn rates, and indirect rates.
• Support audits and internal controls.
