Superior Air Parts, Inc. in Coppell, TX is seeking a hands-on, on-site Controller to lead our financial operations, accounting, payroll and HR functions.

You will report to the CEO and balance technical execution with strategic leadership to ensure strong internal controls and cost accounting. The role requires 10+ years in accounting, 5+ in management, manufacturing cost accounting and experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in management.
• Hands-on cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with a major ERP system.
• Experience presenting financial data to executive leadership or lenders.

Responsabilités

• Financial & Cost Accounting: Direct close cycles (GAAP); manage standard costs, WIP, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
• FP&A & Systems: Lead budgeting, forecasting, CapEx ROI, and act as process owner for Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Compliance & HR: Manage multi-state tax compliance, external audits, payroll, and HR policies.

Position Summary

We are seeking an on-site Controller in Coppell, TX to lead our financial operations, accounting, payroll, and HR functions. Reporting to the CEO, this role balances hands-on technical execution with strategic executive leadership to ensure robust internal controls and comprehensive cost accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial & Cost Accounting: Direct close cycles (GAAP); manage standard costs, WIP, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
• FP&A & Systems: Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, CapEx ROI analysis, and act as the core process owner for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Compliance & HR: Manage multi-state tax compliance, coordinate external audits, oversee full-cycle payroll processing, and guide HR policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience (5+ years in management).
• Hands-on cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with a major ERP system.
• Background presenting financial data to executive leadership or lenders.
• Preferred: Active CPA; experience with Dynamics 365; background in aviation or regulated aerospace manufacturing.
