Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to join our finance team.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee accounting operations, manage the accounting team, and ensure accurate financial reports and budgets.
  2. Assist management with critical financial decisions.
  3. Prepare financial documents such as reports, forecasts, and statements.
  4. Monitor financial reports and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  5. Stay updated on financial market trends, especially in government contracting.
  6. Ensure compliance with legal financial requirements.
  7. Coordinate and support audits, ensuring adherence and resolution of issues.
  8. Collaborate with program managers on project cost tracking, revenue recognition, and contract deliverables.
  9. Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support strategic decisions.
  10. Assist in developing project budgets and pricing strategies for government contracts.
  11. Work with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • 2+ years of management experience.
  • Experience in corporate and public accounting, with government contracting experience.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • CPA certification preferred.
