This role is responsible for leading site-level accounting, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, compliance, and financial analysis while developing a high‑performing local finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with site and business unit leadership to achieve short‑ and long‑term financial objectives, including revenue growth, EBITDA expansion, working capital improvement, and disciplined cost management.
  • Lead the monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial review, and timely submission of HFM reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial statements, forecasts, and management reporting packages.
  • Analyze actual results versus budget, forecast, and prior year, clearly communicating key drivers, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Lead the annual budget and strategic planning processes for the site, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational priorities.
  • Manage, coach, and develop the local finance team while fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and strong business partnership.
  • Support global subsidiaries and cross‑functional teams in resolving significant business, accounting, reporting, or financial matters.
  • Oversee internal controls, SOX compliance, audit readiness, and timely remediation of control gaps or process deficiencies.
  • Ensure revenue and expense recognition practices are accurate and compliant with ASC 606, U.S. GAAP, local statutory requirements, and company policies.
  • Provide financial leadership for working capital management, including inventory, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash flow performance.
  • Partner with operations leaders to improve visibility into manufacturing costs, margins, inventory performance, productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure ERP, reporting, and financial systems support the current and long‑term needs of the business, including process standardization, data integrity, and scalable reporting.
  • Collaborate with product management and R&D leaders to improve product life cycle planning, investment prioritization, project financials, and return‑on‑investment visibility.
  • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives that strengthen financial controls, improve reporting quality, reduce manual work, and increase decision‑making speed.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or technology environment.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience, with the ability to develop talent, set clear expectations, and build a strong finance team.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, revenue recognition principles, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience with month‑end close, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, working capital management, and management reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with operations and business leaders to translate financial results into actionable business insights.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, ownership, and sound business judgment.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; experience with ERP systems, Hyperion/HFM, query tools, Intuitive, or QuickBooks preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a site controller, plant controller, accounting manager, finance manager, or similar operational finance leadership role.
  • Manufacturing finance experience, including product costing, inventory analysis, margin analysis, and operational performance reporting.
  • Experience supporting SOX controls, internal audits, external audits, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrated success improving financial processes, reporting cadence, data quality, and business partnership.
  • Comfort working in a decentralized, global business environment with cross‑functional and international stakeholders.
