Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • 5+ years of accounting or controllership experience.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Strong technical accounting and financial analysis skills.
  • Experience working with executive-level clients.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee accounting functions for assigned clients with accurate month-end close and reporting.
  • Design and monitor internal controls and accounting processes.
  • Prepare or review complex financial statements, cash flows, budgets and variances.
  • Advise clients on policies, process improvements and best practices.
  • Collaborate with CAS Managers and senior team members on complex issues.
  • Support long-term financial planning, KPIs and financial modeling.
  • Mentor and review work of senior team members and communicate insights to client executives.
  • Ensure compliance with firm standards and regulations; maintain confidentiality.

We are seeking a Controller to join our team on-site at one of our 13 offices, hybrid, or remotely!

The Controller provides high-level accounting oversight for CAS clients, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and meaningful financial insights. This role performs advanced analysis, supports strategic planning, and partners with client leadership to improve financial operations. Controllers may oversee large or complex engagements and contribute to advisory services.

What your day looks like:
  • Oversees accounting functions for assigned clients, ensuring accurate month-end close and financial reporting.
  • Designs, implements, and monitors internal controls and accounting processes.
  • Prepares or reviews complex financial statements, cash flow forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses.
  • Advises clients on accounting policies, process improvements, and financial best practices.
  • Collaborates with CAS Managers and senior team members to address complex accounting issues.
  • Supports long-term financial planning, KPIs, and financial modeling.
  • Reviews work prepared by senior team members and provides technical mentoring.
  • Communicates financial insights directly with client executives.
  • Ensures compliance with Firm quality standards and applicable regulations.
  • Maintains Firm confidentiality.
  • Follows Firm policies by conforming to procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Develops an understanding of the Firm’s vision, plan, and strategies and their role in achieving them.
  • Works sufficient hours needed to complete assigned responsibilities.
What you need for this role:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
  • CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of accounting or controllership experience.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and advanced financial analysis abilities.
  • Experience working with executive-level clients.

Pay Range:

$90,000.00-$130,000.00

*Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, credentials, demonstrated skills, performance, and business need.
