A respected public foundation is seeking a Controller to manage non-profit accounting and financial management. This remote position requires significant experience in CPA audits, budget management over $1M, and deep knowledge of GAAP for non-profits. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with non-profit accounting and financial management is REQUIRED.
• Experience with CPA audits is REQUIRED.

• Experience with cloud-based accounting is a BIG PLUS.
• MUST have experience with managing budgets over $1M.
• MUST be familiar with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) for non-profits.
• Previous experience in a public or private foundation is a BIG PLUS.

Job description

A highly regarded, public foundation that focuses on supporting and funding grassroots movements, currently has a position available for a Controller experienced with non-profit account management. This is a remote position and can fully operate from a home office setup anywhere in the continental United States.
