Job summary

Faustrollean Fixture Co. is seeking an experienced accountant to manage day-to-day functions, accruals, and financial statements, reporting to the Owner/CPA. You will handle AR/AP, GL upkeep, journal entries, and monthly reports in a collaborative office environment.

The role requires 3+ years accounting experience, strong Sage knowledge, and solid organizational skills. In-person work with standard benefits and growth opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Combined seven years of accounting education and work experience.
• Working knowledge of Sage accounting software.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset and good interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Update the general ledger and prepare journal entries for fixed assets and depreciation.
• Run monthly trial balance and adjust as needed.
• Provide owners with monthly financial reports (balance sheet, income statement, equity).
• Handle banking needs including deposits and reconciling statements.
• Administer quarterly business and payroll taxes.
• Maintain required business documents and update procedures.
• Perform other duties as requested by the owner.

The position reports to the Owner and CPA is responsible for, but not limited to, maintaining the day-to-day accounting functions, accruals, financial statement preparation, and performing general accounting functions, as required.

Requirements:

Education (combined 7 years' experience between education/work experience)

Working knowledge of Sage is a must

Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment

Thrives in a collaborative, team player office environment

Ability to work well with internal and external contacts

Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills

Duties:

• Audit AR/AP
• Updating/understanding the GL - preparing journal entries for fixed assets, depreciation, etc.
• Run monthly trial balance and adjust accordingly
• Provide owners with monthly financial reports - balance sheet, income statement, equity, etc.
• Banking needs - prepare bank deposits, reconciling bank statements
• Administration of quarterly business and payroll taxes
• Maintain required business documents
• Update & Maintain business procedures
• Perform other related duties as may be requested by owner
