Vaco is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to join a dynamic company in the Scottsdale area. In this role, you will be in the office 5 days a week and oversee accounting operations, drive process improvements, ensure compliance, and position the company for successful growth for its 3 locations. Additionally, you’ll manage daily financial operations and supervise the accounting team.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the organization’s daily accounting functions
• Managing the accounting, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable departments
• Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements
• Managing the budget process
• Hiring, training, and retaining accounting staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA a huge plus but not required
• 5+ years of experience in a Controller seat is required
• Advanced Excel, QuickBooks, and Sage experience is preferred
• Inventory experience required
