Job summary

Ogden Regional Medical Center is seeking a Controller to lead the accounting department, directing and coordinating the hospital's financial activities. You will supervise the general ledger, payroll, and inventory accounting, and coordinate budget programs and cost reports.

You will also oversee governmental payor reimbursements and ensure accurate medical records management, supporting the CFO in all financial duties.

Qualifications

• 3 years of work experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Occasional/ Intermittent Required.

Responsibilities

• Direct financial activities of the Hospital.
• Supervise preparation of Hospital general ledger and subsidiary ledgers, payroll, and inventory accounting.
• Coordinate the Hospital’s formal budget program and the preparation of cost report work papers.
• Coordinate the reimbursement activities necessary for governmental payor programs.
• Provide necessary management to ensure that accurate and adequate medical records are maintained current and readily available for all patients and physicians.
• Assist the Chief Financial Officer in directing and coordinating the financial activities of the Hospital including accounting, reporting, budgeting and internal control functions.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As the Controller in our accounting department, you will be directing and coordinating the financial activities of the Hospital.
