We are seeking an experienced and strategic Controller to lead the accounting function for a growing manufacturing company located near Loveland, Colorado. This individual will play a key role in overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
• Manage all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, cost accounting, and payroll
• Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Partner with operations and executive leadership to support strategic initiatives and improve financial performance
• Prepare and present financial reports to ownership and/or corporate leadership
• Manage and mentor accounting staff
• Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors and tax advisors

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
