Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is recruiting a Plant Controller for our Louisville, KY client, overseeing month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, inventory, and GAAP financial reporting in a manufacturing environment.

This hands-on leadership role partners with plant leadership to improve profitability, manage cost-saving initiatives, and analyze capital projects and process improvements, with a strong compensation package including an annual bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
• ERP experience, ideally Epicor.
• Experience with general ledger activity, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and GAAP reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities and analyze actual results against budget and forecast.
• Direct forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes for the plant.
• Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts, reconciliations, and variance investigations.
• Manage cost accounting processes and ensure compliance with GAAP and reporting requirements.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, financial reports, and operational analyses.
