Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful, non-automotive manufacturer as the Plant Controller! You'll lead a small team and manage all accounting activities for the plant. Work for a global organization.

Responsibilities

• Managing, coaching and mentoring a small team in the accounting department
• Leading the site budgeting and forecasting processes
• Overseeing the cash flow process
• Completing financial analysis on a regular basis
• Extracting data and generating reports in the ERP system
• Leading the month and year-end closing process
• Completing journal entries and reconciliation
• Collaborating with team members to maintain and improve accounting processes
• Other duties as directed by management

Qualifications

• Strategic minded, analytical, hands-on, approachable and able to communicate at all levels.
• Ideally a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of lead accounting experience, ideally in a similar Plant Controller or Accounting Manager role in manufacturing.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Month-end and year-end closing.
• Strong financial analysis.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Microsoft Excel.
