Job summary

Amphenol Corporation is seeking a Controller for the Backplane OverPass business unit in Valley Green, PA. The role provides overall administrative, reporting and planning support to the Finance team, overseeing consolidation, budgeting, forecasting and variance analyses.

The ideal candidate will ensure SOX and COSO compliance, manage monthly close, and coordinate strategic plans and standard costs while partnering with manufacturing, engineering and sales to drive cost reductions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
  • 10–12 years of related experience in manufacturing finance.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and ensures the integrity of the RFC financials.
  • Reports the RF&M actuals and forecast – checks with Assistant Group Controller for adjustments as needed
  • Reviews Compilation and distribution of reports to Amphenol Corporate and Amphenol RF’s management team.
  • Incentive calculations for RFNA
  • Ensure the integrity of the financials
  • Roadmap and market segment reporting
  • Prepare monthly operations meeting package
  • Coordinate and prepare the Strategic plan, budgets and standard costs for RFNA
  • Responsible for Sarbanes Oxley and COSO compliance
  • Ensure compliance with Lease reporting standard as well as Revenue recognition
  • Monitors, analyzes and reports on inventory valuation, production and various other costs.
  • Analysis of E&O and recommendations for alternate use or disposal
  • Responsible for various reports to tax department and other tax authorities
  • Audit calculations for sustainability
  • Participate in key projects within organization to drive process improvements and cost reductions
  • Work closely with Director of Manufacturing Technology for payback on all capital expenditures
  • Review and analyze financial reports collected from all divisions and identify areas to be targeted for potential cost reductions and track progress
  • Review division hard close check lists
  • Frequent travel to global manufacturing sites in Asia, including India, China, and Vietnam

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. We have design, sales, and manufacturing locations globally and are currently seeking a Controller to join our Backplane OverPass business unit located in Valley Green, PA.

The Backplane OverPass Solutions Business Unit develops high-speed, high-bandwidth interconnect solutions for AI, cloud, networking, server, storage, and data-center platforms. Its portfolio includes advanced connectors, and flyover cable assemblies that move signals off traditional PCB traces to improve signal integrity, reduce loss and heat, and support next-generation system architectures. The business partners globally across engineering, manufacturing, sales, and customers to deliver scalable connectivity solutions for leading technology companies

The Controller will provide overall administrative, reporting and planning structure to Finance team. Responsible for managing the consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, variance and trend analysis process for the organization with detailed emphasis by group and department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • Ten (10) to twelve (12) years related experience to include working in a manufacturing environment.
