  • Manages accounts payable and account functions to support timely payments, collections, and consistent cash flow
  • Executes cash management activities, including oversight of bank accounts, credit lines, and company credit card programs
  • Prepares and distributes financial and operational reports, including updates to the chart of accounts and internal dashboards
  • Coordinates the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget and periodic forecasts, partnership with operational leaders and Canterbury Capital
  • Collaborates with Canterbury Capital on financial planning efforts when appropriate, including scenario modeling and multi-year forecasting for individuals with demonstrated aptitude and business insight
  • Manages external audits by preparing required documentation and serving as the primary liaison with auditors
  • Contributes to corporate treasury and financing initiatives in coordination with Canterbury Capital, LLC
  • Maintains relationships with external partners such as financial institutions, insurance providers, and third-party firm vendors
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives in financial systems, reporting processes, and internal controls
Other Functions

  • Minimum five years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including leadership roles; manufacturing or construction experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and core accounting principles
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to interpret historical financial data and provide insights that support business decisions
  • Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to convey financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences
