Qualifications

• Education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education from accredited colleges, universities, schools, or institutions may be used to qualify for Federal employment.
• If using foreign education, you must send a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency with your transcript to receive credit for that education.

Responsibilities

• Duties include receipt, storage, fill, dispense, transfer, inventory, administration, waste, or destruction of controlled substances per VHA Handbooks, Directives, and OIG Directives.
• Conduct inventories twice per week and assist in monthly inspections.
• Coordinate and document procurement of prescription and non-prescription drugs and supplies, maintaining formulary knowledge.
