Under the direction of Pharmacy leadership, the specialist analyzes trends, conducts investigations, and coordinates with unit directors to resolve discrepancies while maintaining security. Successful candidates will be a CPhT with 3 years of experience and a proven ability to work across

Qualificações

• Certified Pharmacy Technician credential required.
• 3 years experience required.
• Preferred experience with controlled substance diversion surveillance.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee controlled substance recordkeeping and auditing.
• Ensure adherence to Board of Pharmacy, Joint Commission, CMS, DEA, and FDA standards.
• Perform trend analysis and database assessments for diversion activities.
• Optimize Pyxis, RxAuditor, Meditech usage to prevent diversion.
• Supervise technicians and maintain medication storage security.
• Conduct monthly and incident audits and investigations as needed.
