Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a Control Technician for our Main Campus. You will operate, maintain, and repair HVAC control systems, interpreting data to correct environmental conditions in patient care and research spaces.

Responsibilities include testing equipment, calibrating controls, and providing courteous, knowledgeable service. Candidates should have extensive experience with DDC, electromechanical and electropneumatic controls within healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting DDC, electromechanical, and electropneumatic controls.
• 2 years of relevant experience with HVAC technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair electric, digital, and pneumatic HVAC control systems in medical and research spaces.
• Read, interpret, and record system data and correct abnormal environmental and system conditions.
• Inspect and test air and water distribution equipment using panels, gauges, charts, and meters to determine operating conditions and performance.
• Adjust and calibrate controls as needed and respond to customer questions with courteous service.
