Job summary

Eriez is seeking a Control Technician to assemble, wire, and test industrial control equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation. The role requires reading electrical schematics and working with high voltage/current circuits, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Candidates should have a two-year electrical technology degree or equivalent experience and at least two years in manufacturing. The position is on-site in Pennsylvania with opportunities to contribute to production schedules and

Qualifications

Two-year degree in electrical technology or equivalent experience assembling, wiring and testing industrial control equipment.
At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
Able to read and understand complex electrical schematics, basic electronic schematics, and assembly drawings.
Working knowledge of high voltage and high current circuits down to control signal levels and instrumentation.
Familiar with electrical and electronic testing equipment and procedures to ensure performance and safety.

Responsibilities

Assemble, wire, and test electrical and basic electronic products.
Perform layout and drill operations to meet production schedules.
Wire and test Eriez equipment in other departments as needed.
Adhere to safety standards and protocols in all tasks.
Operate tools including hand tools, drill presses, torches, and related equipment.
Identify faulty equipment or materials and notify supervisor.
