Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in Reston, VA is seeking a Control Systems Verification Project Lead to guide a team through the verification portion of the system lifecycle.

You will develop verification strategies, allocate resources, run test scripts, analyze results, and report risks to stakeholders, with up to 20% travel and a hybrid work pattern.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or CS with 5+ years of product development experience.
  • Master’s degree with 3+ years of engineering experience.
  • PhD in an engineering field related to aerospace, electrical or mechanical.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident eligibility is required.
  • Experience with ARP4754A and MIL-HDBK-516C is required.
  • Strong systems verification experience and safety-focused mindset.
  • Experience with gas turbine engine controls is a plus.
