The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Control Systems Technician to monitor, maintain, adjust, and repair building automation control systems to ensure safety and efficiency. Candidates must possess a High School Degree or Equivalent and have at least 3 years of relevant work experience. This essential role involves maintaining critical systems and ensuring environmental control.
The Control Systems Technician will monitor, maintain, adjust, and repair building automation control systems owned or leased by the Medical University of South Carolina to ensure safety, environmental control, and economy of mechanical, electrical, and systems. These control systems include, but are not limited to, HVAC equipment, Medical Gas, Fire and Smoke Control, and Electrical Distribution systems. The incumbent works at a control work station to monitor systems and in the field repairing, adjusting, and testing control systems as they interface with various equipment. The position is considered essential personnel in a disaster.
Education: High School Degree or Equivalent. Work Experience: 3 years.
