The Control Systems Technician will monitor, maintain, adjust, and repair building automation control systems owned or leased by the Medical University of South Carolina to ensure safety, environmental control, and economic efficiency of mechanical, electrical, and system operations. These control systems include, but are not limited to, HVAC equipment, Medical Gas, Fire and Smoke Control, and Electrical Distribution systems. The incumbent will work on a rotating basis at a control work station to monitor systems and in the field to repair, adjust, and test control systems as they interface with various equipment. The position is considered essential personnel in a disaster.
