Job summary
RoviSys is seeking a qualified automation engineer in Westborough, MA to design, configure, commission and qualify control systems for process manufacturing. You will work with a team of engineers and technicians, lead projects, mentor junior staff, and contribute to engineering standards while supporting the business development team with technical insights.
DeltaV hands-on experience is required, and a BS in Electrical, Computer, or Chemical Engineering (or Engineering Technology) is expected.
Qualifications
- 2-8 years of experience in automation.
- Windows platform and Emerson DeltaV experience.
- Understanding of control system design and coding.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
- BS in Electrical, Computer, or Chemical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
- Hands-on DeltaV experience.
Responsibilities
- Test and on-site commissioning and qualification of control systems.
- Lead teams of engineers and technicians to deliver control system solutions.
- Mentor less experienced engineers.
- Develop engineering standards to improve efficiency and accuracy of project execution.
- Provide technical sales support to the business development team.
- Define and implement distributed control system (DCS) configurations.
- Redline P&ID documentation.
