Job summary
Marotta Controls, Inc. in Parsippany, NJ, seeks a Control Systems Engineer to perform systems engineering work including performance analysis, MATLAB/Simulink modeling, and documentation. The role targets electromechanical actuation systems and requires delivering SDRLs within budgeted hours and schedule.
You will collaborate across program management, production, supply chain, quality, and finance, flagging budget or schedule risks and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- B.S. Engineering is required.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink modeling and simulation.
- Systems modeling & simulation experience.
- Experience in mechanical, electrical, software or applicable systems engineering.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- MS Office proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and perform system simulations and modeling in MATLAB.
- Prepare SDRLs and related system engineering deliverables.
- Ensure SDRL accuracy through review and commenting.
- Communicate technical/schedule problems to management and program stakeholders.
- Coordinate with program management, production, supply chain, quality and finance.
