Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks a Control Systems Engineer Co-Op to join a dynamic team and work on real-world projects that drive innovation and sustainability. You will help design, configure, and document automation solutions for industrial environments, gaining hands-on experience with Foxboro DCS, industrial networking, and cybersecurity infrastructure.

You will work alongside senior engineers to develop system architecture drawings, perform BOM audits, and assist with FAT/commissioning

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
Shows strong interest in industrial automation, robotics, or large-scale IT/OT infrastructure.
Basic proficiency in MS Visio or CAD software and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

Assist lead engineers in system design, architecture drawings, and BOM audits.
Install and configure Foxboro DCS software, databases, and server/workstation setups.
Support secure networking configuration, including switches and firewall rules, under senior staff guidance.
Maintain software matrices and FAT/commissioning documentation.
Participate in FAT activities to validate system components meet client requirements.
