Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking a design professional to support control systems for industrial processes. You will participate in 3D model reviews, create 2D CAD drawings, and develop project baseline documents, including budgets and contracts.

You will also perform MTOs, load instrument data in Octave Facets, and check wiring diagrams. This role requires a two-year technical degree and four years of related design experience.

Qualifications

• Accredited two-year degree in a technical field.
• Four years of directly related experience in Control Systems design work.
• Ability to communicate with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Participate in 3D model reviews and create moderately complex 3D models.
• Prepare moderately complex 2D CAD drawings.
• Develop and review project baseline documents (Scope of Services/Facilities, budgets, contracts).
• Develop and review estimates, schedules, progress reports, and key quantities reports.
• Review drawings and supplier documentation for compliance and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform instrument and bulk material take-offs (MTOs).
• Load instrument indexes and wiring information into Octave Facets and generate reports.
