- Act as the subject matter expert for coordinating maintenance and troubleshooting of control systems on complex power generation solutions.
- Support Sales, R&D, Production and After-sales/Service, and keep up an ongoing dialogue with a range of client types on a global scale.
- Work with R&D and custom engineering teams in Augsburg, Liege, Friedrichshafen and Mankato to develop controls solutions driven by market demand.
- Work to standard engineering principles and practices, and follow the company’s ERP procedures, quality system and HSE requirements.
- Promote a compliance culture and live the company’s Code of Conduct.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering and 7 years of control system design and engineering experience.
- Experience paralleling generator sets via electronic controls.
- Knowledge of SEP2, DNP3 or SunSpec Modbus communications protocols.

- Experience programming ancillary equipment for industrial applications, such as cooling modules, chillers and fans.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, line diagrams, ladder diagrams, point-to-point diagrams and shop drawings.
- Service or test experience.
