Job summary
Dyno Nobel is hiring a Control Room Technician to operate the TNT manufacturing process using the DCS and related control systems at our Kentucky plant. The role includes monitoring process parameters, alarms, and deviations while coordinating with Field Operators and Maintenance to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications
- Trade School or military training completed.
- 3+ years' experience in chemical processing.
- Ability to interpret technical data and process graphics.
- Knowledge of DCS platforms (Honeywell, Emerson, Yokogawa, ABB).
- Willing to pass ATF background check to work with explosives.
Responsibilities
- Operate TNT manufacturing process via DCS and associated control systems.
- Monitor alarms, deviations, and process parameters.
- Coordinate with Field Operators and Maintenance.
- Maintain logs, shift reports, and process data.
- Support safety, environmental, quality, and production requirements.
- Lead plant startups/shutdowns and equipment transitions.
