Job summary

The starting pay is $28/hour with training on day shifts before rotating to day/night 12-hour shifts. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of manufacturing experience, plus comfort with computer use.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year or more of experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience using a computer and familiarity with technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and control process operation along with troubleshooting from a remote-control room up to 6 hours daily
• Respond to alarms including some emergency responses
• Maintain the equipment in your area
• Perform quality checks of the glass being produced
• Maintain a safe work environment by consistently wearing PPE and communicating safety concerns
• Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds and stand up to 12 hours/day in non-climate-controlled environment
• Must be able to work in and around heat for periods of time
