About the role

As a Control Room Operator, you will execute the approved plant start-up and shutdown procedures to ensure that the facility meets its operational, environmental, and safety commitments while operating in a safe and environmentally efficient manner.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Provide guidance to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators to maintain a safe and efficient operation.
2. Effectively monitor Reworld operations systems and have a strong working knowledge of boiler, turbine, and auxiliary equipment operations.
3. Experience in reading blueprints, P&ID's, and schematic specifications.
4. Manage critical events and prioritize tasks for completion during emergencies, providing clear directions in operational, safety, and environmental tasks.
5. Respond to operational alarms, taking immediate corrective action.
6. Demonstrate a solid understanding of operational best practices, including problem-solving and decision-making to support Reworld's safety and operational goals.

Position Requirements & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of ASME QRO Provisional Licensing exam required within the first year of holding the position.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
