Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Control Room Operator for a full-time night shift in Corvallis, OR. The role involves monitoring security systems, managing access, and coordinating with on-site staff to ensure safety and incident prevention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal, written, and non-verbal communication skills.
• Able to use standard computer/technology tools.
• Security, law enforcement, or military background is a plus.
• Must be able to remain alert and interact calmly with a wide range of people.
• Must pass pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Access control, service requests, camera surveillance, alarm monitoring, and site communications.
• Conduct patrols inside/outside the client premises in various conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activities.
• Provide detailed written reports and service documentation.
• Work in a team to meet site goals; perform related duties as needed.

Control Room Operator — Full Time — Corvallis, OR

Wage: $20.50/HR

Available Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 12am-8am

Join our team at Securitas Security where you will have the opportunity to serve the community while receiving elite training in safety and security. We are seeking customer service driven individuals for security positions. We have a dedicated Region and Area Management Support Staff which will foster you through your growth and advancement in the company.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Responsible for access control, service requests, camera surveillance, alarm monitoring, and site communication for various aspects of the site.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed and accurate written reports and service documentation.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent verbal, written, and non-verbal customer service and communication skills required.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
