A Day in the Life Video

Base Pay: $20.02 an hour

The Control Room Coordinator works in Laboratory Testing areas (Stock testing, Fabric testing, or Raw Materials testing). You will collaborate with the Lead Lab Technician to perform laboratory functions and material testing, including sampling restricted stock, fabric, wire, raw materials, and components. You will conduct tests and report results according to established guidelines. Additionally, you may assist the Chemist/Lead Lab Technician outside of typical duties to maintain plant performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Punctuality and attendance are crucial for operational success and team morale. Dependability is expected.
2. Shift: 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be scheduled as needed, including third shift (10 p.m. to 6 a.m.) and weekend coverage.
3. Work Environment: Located at the Findlay, Ohio Plant within a fast-paced, heavy industrial setting. You may work in various factory areas, including non-climate-controlled warehouses with exposure to temperature fluctuations, fumes, noise, forklift traffic, and pedestrian activity. Safety protocols, including PPE such as hearing and eye protection and steel-toed shoes, must be followed at all times.
4. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Ability to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend, and work at heights, with accommodations if necessary
