Job summary

Conquest Tech Solutions Inc seeks an experienced Control-M administrator to manage enterprise job scheduling, installation, upgrades, migrations, and continuous maintenance. You will oversee DR activities, backup policies, and ensure proper server configuration across DMZ, PCI, and general zones.

The role includes creating and modifying jobs and folders, handling ad-hoc orders and retries, retirement, calendars, abend troubleshooting, and documenting architecture.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of Control-M administration experience.
• Experience with installation, upgrade, migration, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule new jobs, folders, applications, and sub-apps.
• Modify existing jobs and folders.
• Adhoc job orders and reruns with parameter changes.
• Retire jobs and manage calendars.
• Troubleshoot job abends.
• Manage SCLM promotions and JCL deployment.
• Monitor health and reports.
• Manage permissions.

Control-M JD as below

Control-m admin:-

Looking for Control-M admin having 5-6 years of experience and expertise in :-

• I. Control-m server(EM,ctm server ) version installation , upgardation/ migration, Control-m maintenance activity
• II. DR activity. Control-M backup and retention policy,
• III. Certificate Renewal / Creation/ retirement ( self service / control-m server)
• IV. Documentation and Control-M architecture, Servers involved and their role, Services, Respective ports used, Control-M agents availability on DMZ, PCI and General zones

Job Scheduling & Job Troubleshooting:-

• I. Creation of New job, Folder, Application and sub-applications, Scheduling the job
• II. Modification of Existing job and folder
• III. Adhoc Job order, rerun the job updating the parameters and command, dummy and undummy job, host updation, SA account updation, Identify Different Job sequence, Holiday Job overwrite requirement
• IV. Retirement of job
• V. Calender setup for Jobs/folder
• VI. Job abend troubleshooting

Mianframe SOP command

• I. SCLM package promotions, Request deployment, setup, modify or delete Mainframe JCL/SCLM.(After changing the code in the mainframe environment, code is deployed or promoted)

Monitoring and Reporting

• I. Control-m Health Monitoring
• II. OPR jobs for system health check (memory/ disk),job loaded reports , job execution forecast/historic reports, deployment of jobs and troubleshooting.

Access and permission management

• I. Permission assignment , Modification and retirement on the permission groups , folder addition , LDAP account addition

Good to have:-

• Scripting and Automation Scripting for setting up a job(powershell/ unix command)

Good to have Knowledge of Moveit tool
