Control Engineer - Energy and Infrastructure Solutions (EE25019)
Provide hardware and software design for drive, inverter, motor, and control solutions for the business unit's (BU) industries that meet client needs and fulfill project requirements.
Role Accountabilities:
- Interpret client specifications and apply industry codes and standards to all products supplied to meet project requirements.
- Create equipment specifications, bills of materials, and drawings using company-approved tools, ensuring they reflect project needs and quality standards.
- Prepare purchase specifications and ERP requisitions to meet project schedules.
- Track revisions to specifications and drawings, following change control procedures.
- Edit project drawings for various configurations and update them for site activities.
- Develop project documentation in line with standards and requirements.
- Control document distribution and archiving per procedures.
- Implement software project design requirements in collaboration with the team and client.
- Build control system software files and develop interfaces to client and third-party systems.
- Perform system tests and simulations to ensure functionality, demonstrating capabilities during client tests as needed.
- Provide technical guidance during system installation and commissioning.
- Develop standards and practices to improve productivity, quality, and reduce costs.
- Offer timely technical support to clients and suppliers to meet project needs.
- Participate in on-site commissioning as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics engineering, or related field.
- At least 2 years’ experience in circuit/control panel design and/or control system commissioning.
- Knowledge of industry standards, PLC, field I/O, AutoCAD, and project teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience, especially in motor drive design, inverter systems, and electrical hardware.
- Experience with electrical panel design, wiring, software for PLC, I/O, HMI, and familiarity with manufacturing and commissioning.
- Advanced Excel skills and programming knowledge (e.g., Visual Basic).
