Job summary

EGN Consulting & Talent Recruiting seeks a technically capable electrical design and drafting professional to join our industrial automation team in Beaverton, Oregon. The role focuses on translating customer requirements into production-ready control-system designs, BOMs, and documentation.

You will work with senior engineers across estimating, component selection, and production documentation, using DraftSight and AutoCAD, and you will help ensure accuracy and completeness throughout the

Qualifications

• Experience converting customer requirements into production-ready electrical designs.
• Proficient in 2D drafting and generating accurate BOMs.
• Able to research components and verify availability and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary BOMs and cost estimates.
• Create electrical schematics and control-panel layouts.
• Produce documentation packages for production after orders are received.
• Update estimates as designs evolve and coordinate with Sales.
