Job summary

PRAB, Inc. in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a hands-on assembler to form conduit, wire, label, and debug conveying equipment. The role supports the Fabrication Manager and collaborates with Controls Engineering on panel assembly and system tests.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with NEC a plus.

The Pre-Wire position is responsible for forming conduit, wiring, labeling, and debugging conveying equipment. Duties will include some control panel assembly. This position reports to the Fabrication Manager and will work closely with the Controls Engineering group. Responsibilities also include quality of workmanship, productivity, attendance/punctuality, safety, flexibility, working without supervision, and general housekeeping.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
