Job summary

PepsiCo in Purchase, NY is seeking a Control and Reporting Manager, Intercompany to oversee intercompany reporting for PepsiCo Beverages North America. You will ensure the integrity of financial reporting related to intercompany processes, supervise balance sheet close activities, and maintain strong internal controls, including SOX compliance.

You will partner with the field teams and other business partners to complete intercompany tasks, drive process improvements, and support S4 deployment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or similar field.
  • CPA; Big 4 experience is a plus.
  • 5+ years of progressive responsibility, with people management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Tech Savvy; Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint; SAP S4 ledger/AFO and HFM knowledge a plus.
  • Ability to lead and influence across functions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead successful periodic closes and ensure accurate quarterly reporting by reviewing intercompany partner assignments and journal entries, validating intracompany eliminations and reversals, and preparing and submitting matching schedules within HFM.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and execute on implementation efforts.
  • Partner with the field and relevant business partners to ensure intercompany tasks/activities are completed and issues are resolved timely.
  • Review periodic reconciliations/settlements for Intercompany accounts and transactions.
  • Lead quarterly balance sheet review efforts for PBUS intercompany accounts.
  • Ensure key SOX controls are properly designed, documented and performed in alignment with PepsiCo policies.
  • Partner with internal project teams (PGT) to ensure continued S4 implementation success as site deployments occur.

As a Control and Reporting Manager, Intercompany, you will be the key contact for the oversight of Intercompany Reporting for PepsiCo Beverages North America. This role ensures the integrity of financial reporting related to intercompany processes, oversees balance sheet and period close activities, and maintains a strong internal control environment, including SOX compliance. The position offers opportunities and challenges that will support the harmonization of processes in PepsiCo’s 1NA (1 North America) journey and promotes both individual development and longevity within Control given the cross functional nature. The Control and Reporting Manager will report to the Senior Director, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting (Beverages).

Responsibilities
  • Lead successful periodic closes and ensure accurate quarterly reporting by reviewing intercompany partner assignments and journal entries, validating intracompany eliminations and reversals, and preparing and submitting matching schedules within HFM
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and execute on implementation efforts

Compensation and Benefits
  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $110,700 - $185,250.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or similar field
  • CPA. Public accounting experience (Big 4 firms preferred) is considered a plus
  • 5+ years of progressive responsibility, ideally with people management experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Tech Savvy; Proficient in MS Office applications (e.g. MS Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, Copilot).
  • Knowledge/experience with SAP S4 ledger/AFO and HFM (consolidation system) is a plus
  • Flexible with ability to handle multiple priorities
  • High agility with ability to lead and manage change seamlessly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
