Founders Pledge is seeking a Contributions Manager to build and enhance our contributions infrastructure. The successful candidate will operationalize international funding flows and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
This position is hybrid, with options to work remotely and require at least one day per week in the office. You will coordinate with industry partners and have direct contact with professional advisors to manage complex asset donations effectively.
At Founders Pledge, our mission is to empower entrepreneurs to do immense good with their charitable giving. Since launching in 2015, our community of over 2,200 members has pledged nearly $13.6B and donated $1.8B+ to the charitable sector in 45+ countries.
We provide end-to-end giving infrastructure, pioneering research, and access to a global network of experts. In other words, we help tech leaders become strategic philanthropists. Our members include founders and leaders behind companies such as Airbnb, UiPath, Dropbox, Skype, Spotify, and Uber.
We focus on deploying capital where it can achieve the greatest impact, guided by evidence, careful analysis, and long-term thinking.
We’re looking for a Contributions Manager to help us build the next generation of our contributions infrastructure. The goal is a model that’s seamless for members, efficient for internal teams, and underpinned by strong systems and processes.
This is not a traditional gift-processing role. You’ll be a detail-oriented operator who enjoys taking something that works and making it work better: more scalable, more integrated, and more partner-enabled. Working closely with our Head of Philanthropic Services, Travers Oliver, you’ll help strengthen the workflows, controls, and partner pathways that support contributions into Founders Pledge: from standard cash wires and DAF grants through to more complex, non-cash assets like private equity or LLC interests.
This is a two-year fixed-term role with a clear build-out mandate. By the end of it, our contributions model should be something we’re proud to put in front of any member, advisor, or partner, anywhere in the world.
Note for Philadelphia-based candidates: You’ll have the opportunity to work directly alongside our Head of Philanthropic Services, with a front-row seat to how contributions strategy is shaped at the organisational level.

This role can be based in Philadelphia, New York City, or San Francisco.
While you will have the flexibility to work remotely for the majority of the week, this is a hybrid role. We provide coworking space (WeWork or similar) in each of these hubs, and you will be expected to work from the office at least one day per week to collaborate with the team and ensure smooth operational alignment.
Some travel comes with the job. Teams get together at least once a year, and all staff are expected to attend our annual global offsite.
Applications will be accepted until May 28 (incl).
This role is a real opportunity to help build something meaningful. You’ll work with a small, focused team of people who care deeply about what we do and how we do it, and you’ll have real responsibility for shaping how our contributions infrastructure comes together.
You can find more about the benefits we offer here, but what makes Founders Pledge genuinely special is the combination of mission and people. We’re a diverse team, from both charitable and commercial backgrounds, who believe remarkable things happen when people tackle hard problems together. We offer a flat structure, real ownership, and a chance to help shape the future of strategic philanthropy.
We’re fully remote and trust you to manage your own time, balancing the needs of your team and your work within a 40-hour week. We bring the whole organisation together for an annual offsite, and teams connect separately at least once a year.
We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at Founders Pledge. We seek people with different strengths, experiences, and backgrounds who share our drive to understand and solve complex social challenges. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. Finding solutions to the world’s most pressing problems requires different perspectives and unique ways of thinking, and we are committed to building a workplace where everyone can do their best work.
If you’re excited about our mission but don’t meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
