Job summary

ShiabeWell in Owosso, MI seeks a Contractual OBRA & Guardianship Evaluator with a Master’s in Psychology and current licensure. The role requires 5+ years in behavioral assessments and work with individuals with IDD, including court appearances and comprehensive evaluations.

The evaluator completes Level II OBRA and other psychological assessments, maintains strict documentation, and collaborates with care teams while upholding rights and confidentiality. This is a 1099 contractor position.

Qualifications

• Must have Master’s Degree in Psychology.
• Licensed Master’s Level Psychologist required.
• QIDP status preferred or required based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete Guardianship Evaluations and provide written recommendations.
• Attend court hearings as required for guardianship cases.
• Conduct Level II OBRA evaluations.
• Complete psychological assessments and related evaluations as assigned.
• Identify the need for additional specialty evaluations when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with treatment teams, providers, family members, and community partners.
• Protect and uphold recipient rights and confidentiality requirements.
• Participate in required trainings and professional development activities.
• Adhere to all applicable agency, Medicaid, MDHHS, and regulatory standards.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:

• Licensed Master's Level Psychologist required.
• Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) status preferred or required based on experience and qualifications.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum five (5) years of experience conducting behavioral assessments and developing behavior intervention plans.

RANGE OF PAY:

• $255 per completed assessment
• $25 per hour for required trainings and meetings
