Job summary

T. Baker Smith, LLC. is seeking a detail-oriented Contracts & Vendor Compliance Coordinator to ensure contracts, vendors, and subcontractors meet compliance and risk-management standards.

You'll work with project teams to administer contracts, onboard vendors, and track insurance requirements. This role requires an Associate degree and 2+ years in contract administration or vendor management, plus strong organization and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in contract administration, vendor management, insurance compliance, procurement, or a similar role.
• Experience with COIs and basic contract terminology is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts, subcontracts, and agreements for completeness and compliance.
• Coordinate contract routing, execution, and document management.
• Track contract renewals, key dates, and deadlines.
• Identify risk provisions for internal review and compliance.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding and prequalification.
• Maintain vendor records and ensure documentation remains current.
• Review vendor submissions for compliance with requirements.
• Partner with project teams to obtain vendor approvals before work begins.
• Review COIs and track expirations, requesting updates as needed.
• Maintain organized insurance records for audits.
