Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Staff Attorney to support the firm’s day-to-day transactional legal needs, focusing on client engagement letters, MSAs, NDAs, data protection agreements, and other commercial contracts.

You will assist principals and internal clients with a wide range of transactional matters, ensuring compliance with firm policies, and contributing to the OGC’s processes and templates. A JD and three+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• JD degree required.
• 3+ years as a practicing attorney in good standing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating contracts with clients, vendors and third parties.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, advises, and negotiates legal matters pertaining to client engagements and other commercial transactions.
• Involved in contract lifecycle from formation to termination.
• Counsels internal clients to minimize legal risk.
• Contributes to Office of the General Counsel templates and processes.
• Communicates progress with OGC team and internal/external parties.
• Manages multiple contracts and projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Performs other related duties as required.
