The Opportunity:

As a contract specialist, you will use your negotiation skills and organizational talent to manage critical documents. Bring your advanced contract management expertise to our Army client, where you'll be a trusted advisor and a team member who finds creative solutions to complex problems.

As a contract specialist, you'll manage proposals and contracts within Army support, touching all elements of government acquisition from start to finish. Your responsibilities include reviewing solicitations for risks, guiding proposal strategies, and advising leadership on risk mitigation.

Prepare acquisition documents reflecting technical and operational requirements for Government approval, including SCAs, PWSs, SOWs, SOOs, labor descriptions, J&As, IGCEs, QASPs, acquisition plans, and strategies. Support proposal evaluation, post-award activities, and facilitate contract invoice processing via WAWF. Enter and review data in portfolio management databases, and provide validated reports. Support research on contracting types, program planning, milestone tracking, and assist lower-level specialists.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in contract formation support and procurement documentation related to DoD projects
  • Knowledge of DoD contracts and FAR
  • Ability to support Army acquisition strategies and contract execution
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Bachelor's in Business, Economics, or related field
  • Certifications such as CFCM, CPCM, CCCM, DAWIA, or FAC-C Level II/III

Clearance:

Security investigation required; Secret clearance needed.
