Job summary

Stream is seeking a part-time Contracts Manager to anchor its US Legal operations. Based in our Arlington, VA office with occasional on-site requirements, you will draft, review and process NDAs, MSAs, SOWs and other standard agreements while coordinating with the attorney on more complex matters.

You’ll implement a formal intake process, manage signatures, and ensure all contract records are well organized.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years contracts experience.
• Proficient in MS Word (redlining) and G Suite.
• Fintech experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing and processing NDAs, order forms, standard renewals and other simple agreements; route for signature or flag key issues for attorney.
• Handle initial redlines on customer, vendor and partner contracts; coordinate compliance and data requests with the attorney.
• Act as Legal team’s contract intake point; build and manage a formal intake process to vet and prioritize requests.
• Manage signatures and keep legal documents, filings and contract records organized and easy to find.
• Work from Stream’s US templates (NDAs, MSAs, SOWs) and apply the legal playbook consistently.
• Spot bottlenecks and build repeatable processes for routine contracts to speed deals and consistency.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, People and Product to understand needs and keep deals moving.

The Opportunity

As Stream continues to scale, our US Legal team needs a part-time Contracts Manager to be its operational anchor.

What will you be doing?

• Drafting, reviewing and processing NDAs, order forms, standard renewals and other simple agreements, and either routing them for signature or flagging key issues for an attorney
• Handling initial redlines on customer, vendor and partner contracts, and coordinating compliance and data requests alongside the attorney
• Acting as the Legal team’s point of contact for contract intake, and building and running a clear, formal intake process so requests are vetted and prioritized
• Managing signatures, and keeping legal documents, filings and contract records organized and easy to find
• Working from Stream’s US templates (NDAs, MSAs, SOWs) and the legal playbook, applying our preferences and risk tolerance consistently
• Spotting bottlenecks and building repeatable processes for routine contracts that make the business faster and more consistent
• Partnering with Sales, Marketing, People and Product to understand their needs and keep deals moving

What we’re looking for

Must-haves

• 5-10 years contracts experience
• Must know how to use MS Word (and redlining function) and G-suite (gmail, google docs, google drive etc.)
• Experience in Fintech a plus (but not required)

What success looks like

Within one month

• You’ve learned the Stream business and products, and understand the current US contract lifecycle
• You’ve completed intensive hand-off sessions with our current legal team, capturing historical context, stakeholder preferences and the technical processes already in place
• You’ve reviewed all US templates (NDAs, MSAs, SOWs) and the legal playbook
• You’ve met key partners in US Sales, Marketing, People and Product to understand their pain points and common issues

Within two months

• You’ve started taking over low-complexity, high-volume contracts such as NDAs and standard renewals
• You’ve set up a more organized, formal intake process so requests are properly vetted
• You’ve identified potential bottlenecks and begun creating a process for routine contracts that is efficient and consistent

Within three months

• You’re reviewing NDAs, order forms and other simple agreement modifications, and either processing them for signature or highlighting key issues for an attorney
• You’re the Legal team’s point of contact for contract intake, and you’re streamlining how requests flow through
• You’re supporting the attorney on more substantive vendor, customer and partner contracts by handling initial redlines and coordinating compliance and data requests
• You’re creating new processes for Legal that make life easier for the business

Remuneration: $65-75 per hour, depending on experience.

Location: This role is based in our Arlington, VA office with ad-hoc on-site requirements.

Employment Type: This 6 month contract offers up to 20-25 hours per week.
