Contact Government Services (CGS) seeks a Contracts Manager in the Washington, DC area with hybrid/remote options. You will oversee existing contracts and lead negotiations for new awards, guiding internal teams through the full lifecycle while ensuring compliance with federal requirements.

The role emphasizes proactive risk mitigation, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and precise contract administration. A federal clearance and MS Office proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing various contract types and solicitations.
• Knowledge of Federal contracting guidelines.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal government security clearance.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain all current contracts.
• Negotiate and finalize new contracts while ensuring compliance.
• Lead and coordinate proposal and award activities across the lifecycle.
• Review complex contract actions and develop tactical plans to address risks.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Client Success, and HR teams on contract challenges.
• Provide cradle-to-grave contract administration for Government contracts.
• Enter contract data accurately and monitor updates across systems.
