Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee planning, design and construction of new Fulfillment, Sortation and Delivery stations, as well as extending existing facilities to support the North American network.

You will manage contract administration, onboarding, and compliance with regulations, working with the Real Estate Legal team and transaction teams to ensure processes are followed correctly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of legal experience in contracts.
• Experience operating across multiple construction disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day contract administration for construction contracts and related documents.
• Prepare and process work orders and authorization letters.
• Ensure documentation is entered into corporate databases and reports are generated.
• Review invoices for contract compliance.
• Assist with contract audits and purchase orders.
• Build relationships with internal customers and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with policies and laws; advise management on requirements.
• Support onboarding of vendors through Prime Agreement process.
• Coordinate with transaction team on BTS deals.

The successful candidate will be a key part of the operations team and will be responsible for project managing new Fulfillment, Sortation and Delivery station planning, design and construction. This will include the extension of existing facilities and any new sites. The Contract Manager will play an integral role in the development and implementation of the North American facility network infrastructure. This opportunity combines construction engineering, planning, project management, facilities management, and contract management. It requires a person who can show proven ability in the planning and design, and project management / control of new and the enhancement of existing facility buildings.

Key job responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day contract administration support for standardized construction contracts, NDA’s, services agreements, statements of work/work orders, proposals and other contract documentation.
• Prepare work orders, work authorization letters, and other contract and process documentation in accordance with industry best practices and corporate risk policies, within the limits of authority delegated by management.
• Ensure appropriate documentation is acquired and entered into corporate databases in a timely manner; conduct analyses and compile reports as required.
• Review invoices for compliance with contract terms and conditions.
• Assist with contract audits.
• Processing and tracking purchase orders
• Build and maintain relationships with internal customers and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and contracting practices as well as Federal, state, and local law by reviewing existing and new regulations; anticipating regulations; enforcing adherence to regulations; and advising management on requirements.
• Supports the Real Estate Legal team with onboarding new Vendors through the Prime Agreement process
• Works with the transaction team to ensure process is followed correctly on BTS deals

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience operating within at least two disciplines within the construction industry, such as Contracting, Owners Representation, Architecture, Design and Engineering, Commercial Development, analysis and control of construction costs or similar
• 3+ years of legal experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in project management in construction and contracts management

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
