LHH is seeking a Fleet Contracts Manager in the United States to own aircraft-related contracts across multiple divisions, including air medical operations and aviation services. The role supports leases, acquisitions, dispositions, and procurement activities from a central contracting function.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of experience in commercial contracts, contract administration, procurement, or aviation.
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder agreements across functions and external partners.
  • Ability to review, redline, and negotiate contracts effectively within authority.
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with in-house legal teams is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Administer aircraft leases, including renewals, amendments, extensions, assignments, returns, and terminations.
  • Coordinate documentation for aircraft acquisitions, sales, dispositions, leasing arrangements, repairs, and other fleet transactions.
  • Review and negotiate commercial contracts within established authority.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, and executive leadership.
  • Track critical dates, notice periods, delivery requirements, maintenance reserves, return conditions, and milestones.
  • Maintain organized and accurate contract records and transaction documentation.
  • Coordinate approvals, contract execution, and post-signature obligations.
  • Support due diligence for aircraft and fleet transactions.
  • Prepare contract summaries, leadership reports, and transaction updates.

Direct Hire | $100,000 to $110,000 Base Salary


Are you an experienced contracts professional who wants to take ownership of complex, high-value agreements in the aviation industry?


A leading air medical and aviation organization is hiring a Fleet Contracts Manager to oversee aircraft-related contracts across multiple business divisions, including air medical operations, oil and gas services, maintenance, repair and overhaul, and international operations.


This is a newly created position offering significant visibility with executive leadership. You will serve as the central point of coordination for aircraft leases, acquisitions, dispositions, repair agreements, procurement contracts, and other fleet-related transactions. The right professional will bring strong commercial contracts experience, sound business judgment, and the ability to keep multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and contractual obligations moving forward.


A Juris Doctor is welcomed but not required. This opportunity may be especially attractive to an experienced contracts manager, senior contracts administrator, aviation paralegal, commercial transactions paralegal, legal operations professional, or procurement contracts professional who is ready to take greater ownership.


What You Will Do


  • Administer aircraft leases, including renewals, amendments, extensions, assignments, returns, and terminations

  • Coordinate documentation for aircraft acquisitions, sales, dispositions, leasing arrangements, repairs, and other fleet transactions

  • Review and negotiate commercial contracts within established authority

  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, and executive leadership

  • Track critical dates, notice periods, delivery requirements, maintenance reserves, return conditions, and contractual milestones

  • Maintain organized and accurate contract records and transaction documentation

  • Coordinate approvals, contract execution, and post-signature obligations

  • Support due diligence for aircraft and fleet transactions

  • Prepare contract summaries, leadership reports, and transaction updates

  • Identify contractual risks, compliance concerns, and items requiring escalation

  • Help build and streamline a growing fleet contract management function


What We Are Looking For


  • At least five years of experience in commercial contracts, contract administration, procurement, aviation, fleet management, asset transactions, or a related area

  • Experience managing sophisticated agreements involving multiple internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to review, interpret, redline, and negotiate contracts

  • Exceptional organization, follow-through, and attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, aviation, legal studies, finance, supply chain, or a related discipline

  • Experience supporting an in-house legal department or working closely with attorneys is preferred

  • Paralegal certification, formal legal training, or a Juris Doctor is preferred but not required

  • Aviation, aerospace, aircraft leasing, FAA documentation, or transportation asset experience is highly desirable
