Job description

The Position

A well-established mechanical contracting and energy services company is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with direct construction industry experience.

Key responsibilities will include reviewing, redlining, and negotiating construction-related agreements, including MSAs and agreements involving project owners, general contractors, and subcontractors, with the majority on third-party paper. The Contracts Manager will handle provisions such as indemnification and limitations of liability, help enhance an existing contract playbook, and partner closely with the sales team to keep agreements moving.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on construction contract redlining experience, understands the contracting relationships among owners, general contractors, and subcontractors, and takes a practical, business-minded approach to negotiations.

This project starts ASAP, 20-40 hours per week, fully remote and time zone agnostic, for an estimated 3-month duration to start. The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $63 and $73. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
