Job summary

Temporal Technologies is seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to join our Legal team.

As a key member of our Legal team, you'll manage the contract lifecycle across customer, procurement, and other commercial contracts while partnering with cross-functional teams to scale processes and drive efficiency.

Reporting to the Director of Commercial Legal, you will own CLM platform configuration, templates, and playbooks, and support end-to-end contracting to enable growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of contract management experience in commercial transactions.
• Experience with SaaS and tech industry contracts.
• Proficient in drafting and negotiating NDAs, MSAs, and SOWs.
• Familiar with CLM systems and contract tooling.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end review processes for NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and procurement agreements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Security, and other teams to accelerate deals.
• Administer Temporal's CLM platform, workflows, and user access.
• Develop templates, clause libraries, and playbooks for scalable contracting.
• Create training materials and guidelines to improve self-service for Legal.
• Support process improvements and reporting standardization.

Summary

Temporal is seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to join our Legal team.

As a key member of our Legal team, you'll work across a diverse mix of customer, procurement, and other commercial contracts while serving as a trusted legal partner to cross-functional teams. You'll build and maintain direct relationships with key stakeholders and have the opportunity to develop scalable resources that make the Legal team, and company, more efficient.

Reporting to the Director of Commercial Legal, you'll manage Temporal’s contract lifecycle management platform, including the templates, playbooks, and documentation used by cross-functional teams. You'll support commercial transactions end-to-end by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating standard agreements, coordinating signature workflows, and ensuring on-time execution at scale. You'll also help build the processes and systems for the entire Legal team needed to support Temporal's current and next stage of growth.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and coordinate the end-to-end review processes for both the sell-side and buy-side, including NDAs, MSAs, Statements of Work, and procurement agreements.


• Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Security, and other stakeholders to enable deal velocity.


• Serve as the primary administrator for Temporal’s CLM platform by owning system configuration, workflow design, user management, and ongoing optimization.


• Build, maintain, and improve automated contract workflows and intake processes that reduce cycle times and minimize manual steps.


• Develop and maintain commercial contract templates, clause libraries, and playbooks, and continuously improve and scale the Legal team's contracting operations.


• Create and deliver training materials, internal guidelines, and FAQs to assist cross-functional partners and improve self-service on routine questions for Legal.


• Contribute to Legal team operational initiatives, including process improvements, tool implementations, and reporting standardization.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelors degree


• 5+ years of experience in contract management for commercial transactions, ideally supporting a SaaS or tech company.


• Experience with managing a wide variety of commercial agreements, such as procurement agreements, MSAs, NDAs, and/or other commercial SaaS and technical agreements.


• Hands-on experience with contracts management systems (such as, or similar to, Ironclad, Zip, and Docusign).


• Ability to think creatively, function independently, and work proactively.


• Team-focused and collaborative work style, and a willingness to build expertise and solve new challenges in an evolving setting.


• Hyper-responsive and service-oriented attitude, and a love for solving hard problems on a small team.


• Experience with AI-powered contract tools.


• Experience implementing CLM systems and other legal operations tools.


• Project management skills are a bonus.

Compensation

• The estimated pay range for this role is $115,000-$170,000.


• Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Temporal’s equity plan.
