Austal Usa, LLC is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee contract administration for assigned programs, supervise a team of contract specialists, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies. The role involves drafting contracts, leading negotiations with customers and major subcontractors, and coordinating with finance and program offices.
You will act as primary liaison for formal communications and submittals, manage contract files and values, and support tender and
College Degree in related field required. A minimum of 10+ year'srelated experiencerequired. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, negotiating skills and the ability to manage and prioritize tasks using available resources effectively and efficiently. Must be proficient with the use of standard Microsoft office software (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and other generally used business software (e.g. Adobe Acrobat). Must be able to participate in and in many cases lead a team to meet all commitments within a required deadline.
The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance may be required if deemed necessary in the scope of your position responsibilities.
